  • Share information with troop or service unit members, volunteers and parents
  • Give troop members or a troop leader a chance to practice web design
  • Sell craft supplies or other products
  • As a hobby … to share ideas with others … and lots of other reasons

How to Search the Web (by Katie and Mary)

Use Google Safe Search

  • 1. Things to keep in mind when using Google -- Be VERY careful with your choice of words
  • 2. Remember not to bother using words like “the” or “a”
  • 3. All of the search engines give you the same results so remember to put on safe search when letting kids use the computer
