Troop 3262 Badge Pages
Photography

Spring 2002: We earned the photography badge on a photography field trip to Fellsmere Pond. We took photos and later created an album with the photos. We take lots of digital photos during troop meetings as well.

  1. Read! Read a library book or a book you have at home about photography. Look for examples of photos that you like. Also look at magazines for examples of photos that you like. Do you like nature photography? People? Cities? Or lots of different kinds of photos? Do you like lots of color? Or simple black and white? Think about the types of photos you'd like to take.

  2. Write About It. Write a list of the kinds of photos that you would like to take. Also list some favorite places or things that you'd like to take photos of. Draw some sketches too.

  3. Start Taking Photos. As a troop and on your own, start taking photos ... for this badge you'll want to take at least three different kinds of photos.
